Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most iconic attractions. This incredible greenhouse-like glass dome can be seen from a mile away and is just as stunning from the inside as it is from the outside. The large air-conditioned dome features spiral walkways and one of the highest indoor waterfalls in the world, raining down from over 30 meters high.

Singapore is a hot country all year round, so a visit here is a great way to relax. Thanks to air conditioning, cool steam jets and that refreshing waterfall, temperatures inside Singapore’s cloud forest are kept cool to the humid, humid conditions found in the misty tropical mountains 900 to 2,700 meters above sea level.

What We Do

When entering the sealed doors, you will most likely have to fight with a jacket instead of a fan. The jet of air created by the huge waterfall hits you first and you will usually be stunned as soon as you enter. Take the elevator to the top to begin your descent down the spiraling ramps, in and out of the main central column.

Tropical flowers and vegetation change as you land, mimicking what it would be like at different altitudes. The ‘lost world’ has a moss covered lotus pond and along the way there is a stalactite and stalagmite display, an educational theater and an abundance of lilies, orchids, thatch plants, sunflowers and tassel ferns.

Even if you’re not a flower enthusiast, visit the cloud forest at Gardens by the Bay to see the stunning architecture, with giant crystals set inside a massive steel grid. There are no concrete columns in sight. Cloud Forest’s younger sibling, Flower Dome, is the world’s largest column-free greenhouse.
