Between tribal traditions and beautiful sea views, you will be completely lost.
With a score of 97.26, China Temple House is among the top 10 hotels on the planet. It is built on the remains of an ancient temple that was established in the Qing Dynasty. The hotel consists of two L-shaped halves separated by a restored Qing Dynasty courtyard. The wood-paneled Mi Xun Teahouse is a day spa inspired by Chinese medicine. The rooms have a minimalist design and architectural elements.
This hotel is located on the shores of Lake Sarmiento, overlooking Torres del Paine National Park. Rooms feature elegant wooden walls, bathtubs in rooms with views of the park, designer toiletries and hand-crafted furniture. The hotel organizes hikes, glacier tours and horseback riding adventures. It scored 97.38 points in T+L’s survey.

It is committed to exceeding your expectations in terms of service, comfort and convenience, and style. It scored 97.81 in T+L’s poll.
Inverlochy Castle Hotel is a 19th century hotel set amidst the countryside of the West Highlands of Scotland. All of its elegant rooms and suites have stunning mountain or garden views. It has three dining rooms, each decorated with period furniture donated by the King of Norway. Inverlochy Castle scored 97.87 in T+L’s survey.
Peru’s Inkaterra La Casona had the same score as Inverlochy Castle in T+L’s survey. This century mansion was the first boutique hotel in Cusco. The hotel has retained its colonial charm while offering the best modern facilities. Inkaterra La Casona has only 11 suites, each with a view of the square or the inner courtyards. The building was restored before opening in 2008.
It is located on a white sand beach on the beautiful Caribbean coast. According to the Travel + Leisure survey, it is among the 10 best hotels in the world with a score of 97.88. The resort blends the casual and relaxed spirit of the Caribbean islands with the elegance that makes guests fall in love with the place. Frangipani Beach Resort is family owned and operated and has only 19 rooms.

T+L readers rated it the best hotel on the planet with a score of 98.22. You have to go to this property in the Ayung River Valley via a suspension bridge. My most romantic hotel experience was on our honeymoon in July 2016 when we visited the unique paradise Kaya Mawa, a luxury boutique hotel on Likoma Island in the middle of Lake Malawi.

One of the most romantic hotel experiences was at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico.
The resort is right on the beach in Cancun and the sound of the ocean was a constant background to our stay. We loved opening the balcony door every morning to hear the sound of the surf and waves around us.

The spa at the resort had a Valentine’s Day special for couples and we were excited to try it. It was my partner’s first experience of Ross’ spa so I was hoping it would be really special for him.
